Voices in her head

The other day:

Mrs Bean: Do you want to take Dolly outside to play?
Kai: (looks at her doll) Dolly – go out play?
Kai: (pauses, listens)
Kai: Oh. (turns to Mrs Bean) Yeah!

Kai loves to talk to her dolls and do things with them, like play Ring-around-the-rosie.  She like to help Monkey walk and will sometimes nurse her baby dolls (after having them ‘cry’).  Sometimes she’ll have them talk to each other.  It’s fascinating to listen in on!
